dB Meter Overlay for YouTube

Overlay Peak / VU / LUFS meters on YouTube, YouTube Music, and YouTube Studio videos (with -14 LUFS reference line)

Display • PK/VU: Thick bar = Sample Peak (dBFS) / Center thin bar = VU (0 VU = −18 dBFS, 300 ms ballistics) / Horizontal line = Peak Hold • LUFS: ITU-R BS.1770 K-weighting. Bar = Short-term (3 s), White line = Momentary (400 ms), ▶ = Integrated (with gating), Red line = YouTube −14 LUFS target • PRE / POST: PRE measures the signal before YouTube's volume slider, loudness normalization, and mute (pre-fader) • Draggable to move, works in full-screen mode. Toggle display via toolbar icon or Alt+Shift+M. Notes • Loudness is not accumulated into Integrated during ad playback or when paused. • K-weighting is approximated using BiquadFilter (~0.2 dB error at 1 kHz). Please use dedicated metering tools for strict delivery quality control. • Measures Sample Peak, not True Peak.
