Overview
Task manager and time tracker for organizing tasks, tracking time, and optional billable work. No sign-up required.
DayTicks is a lightweight task manager and time tracker that helps you organize tasks, track time spent on your work, and optionally calculate earnings for billable tasks — all from your browser. No account or sign-up required. 🆕 What’s New (v2.9): - Updated DayTicks descriptions and documentation. - Minor improvements and maintenance. ⭐ Key Features: - Task Management: Add, edit, delete, and complete tasks directly from your browser. - Time Tracking: Start and stop a timer for each task to track the time you spend on your work. - Billable Tasks: Optionally enable payment calculation for individual tasks, choose USD ($) or EUR (€), and set an hourly rate. - Earnings Tracking: See the hourly rate and current earnings for individual billable tasks directly in the dashboard. - Tags and Filters: Organize tasks with tags, filter tasks by tags, and reuse previously entered tags through suggestions. - Task Reminders: Set reminder intervals such as 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes while working on a task. Note: Task reminders and other DayTicks notifications require Chrome notifications to be enabled in your browser and computer settings. - Stop Timer on Reminder: Optionally stop a task timer automatically when its reminder notification is triggered. Activate this by clicking the watch icon in front of the reminder dropdown. - Daily Summaries: See the total time you've tracked across your tasks for the day. - Reports: Generate reports showing task totals, completion status, tracked time, paid-task counts, and earnings. - PDF Export: Download your task and earnings reports as PDF files. - Currency-Aware Reports: Keep USD and EUR earnings separate without automatic currency conversion. - Quick Dashboard Access: Open DayTicks dashboard from anywhere in Chrome by pressing the keyboard shortcut (`Ctrl+Shift+Y` on Windows, `Command+Shift+Y` on Mac). To customize this shortcut, visit `chrome://extensions/shortcuts`. Use DayTicks Your Way DayTicks doesn't require you to use every feature. You can use it simply as a task manager to keep track of what you need to do. You can also use the timer when you want to track time spent on individual tasks, without enabling any billable-work features. If you do billable work, you can optionally add an hourly rate and track task earnings alongside your time. This makes DayTicks useful for freelancers, professionals, students, and anyone looking for a lightweight task manager and time tracker without having to create another account. No Account Required DayTicks works directly in your browser without requiring registration or a separate account. Your tasks, timer data, hourly rates, and earnings remain in the extension's local browser storage. Who Is DayTicks For? DayTicks can be useful for: - Freelancers who want to track tasks, working time, and billable earnings. - Professionals who want a lightweight way to organize daily work and track time. - Students who want to organize tasks and see how much time they spend on them. - Anyone who wants simple task management and time tracking without a larger productivity system.
