Turn on Randomize Everytime for a different atmosphere when you open a new tab, or use your own background photo. Prefer a still page? Switch animations off. Daylight also respects your device’s reduced-motion preference. 🌤️ Your day, at a glance See the local time, date and a personalized greeting. Check hourly weather with AM/PM labels, or switch to a five-day forecast with daily highs and lows. Faint weather illustrations change with the conditions, from glowing sunshine to twinkling nighttime skies. 📝 Space for today’s thoughts Write daily notes with bold text, bullet lists, underline and strikethrough. Copy your notes when you want to keep them elsewhere. Notes are temporarily stored in your browser so they stay shared across tabs and browser restarts. They clear at local midnight while open, or when Daylight next opens or resumes after midnight. 🔎 Keep familiar tools close Add and edit website shortcuts with site icons. Normal search follows your selected Chrome search provider. Explicit Google actions include Lens image search, AI Mode and Feeling Lucky. Voice search is available where supported by your browser and microphone permissions. ⚙️ Make the details yours Adjust clock and text size, tile/widget opacity and blur, uploaded-photo blur and clock format. Show or hide shortcuts, weather and notes, display seconds, or return to the default settings with one click. 🔒 No Daylight account required Preferences, shortcuts, photos and daily notes are stored locally. Daylight has no developer-operated analytics or advertising. Weather requests use Open-Meteo; site icons, image search and other Google tools use Google services. Voice may use Chrome’s remote speech-recognition service. These providers receive the requests needed for those features, as explained in the privacy notice. 💛 Daylight is free to use. Weather requires an internet connection, and availability of Google’s tools depends on Google, your account and region.
