Create sample data values using static generators, custom templates, or your own AI provider.
Seed is a browser extension that helps users create sample test data while working with forms or prototype content. It intends to increase productivity for software developers, designers, QA testers. It includes three modes for producing test data: • Static values Choose from a set of predefined generators for names, numbers, dates, addresses, and similar categories. • Custom templates Create reusable snippets using placeholders. Templates can combine multiple generated values. • Optional AI generation You may connect your own AI provider or local model to generate longer text, descriptions, or domain-specific content. Seed does not provide AI services or API keys. Additional information • Data is generated locally in your browser. • Extension settings and custom templates are stored on the user’s device. • No analytics or external data collection is performed. • AI features only communicate with a provider if you supply credentials. Seed is intended to support development, form testing, and content prototyping workflows.
