Overview

DataPilot — your cockpit for Dataverse, right in the browser.

DataPilot — your cockpit for Dataverse, right in the browser. DataPilot brings 40+ power-user tools to Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform — no desktop app, no separate connection setup. It runs as an overlay on the maker portal (make.powerapps.com) and on model-driven apps, using the session you are already signed in with. Click the toolbar icon, or press Ctrl+Space, and start working. ⚡ Built for makers, admins and developers • A launcher and a Spotlight palette (Ctrl+Space) to jump to any tool, table, record or solution • A multi-tab workspace — run several tools side by side • Light and dark themes 🛠️ What's inside Dozens of focused tools, grouped into a few areas and always a keystroke away: • Customization — edit form XML, web resources, columns, views and option sets, and refactor schema and solutions in bulk. • Data — run advanced finds, count and compare records, move data between environments, and query your tables in real SQL that compiles to FetchXML. • Diagnostics — inspect plug-in traces, flows, custom actions and custom APIs, and review audit history. • Admin & security — audit your configuration and debug security roles. • Navigation — a Spotlight palette and multi-tab workspaces to move fast, plus on-form helpers like impersonation and ribbon debugging. • Cleanup — find and remove leftover components and metadata. 🤖 Optional AI — bring your own key Connect your own AI provider key (Google Gemini, OpenAI or Azure AI Foundry) to enable AI-assisted features. Entirely optional and off by default: your key is encrypted and stored locally on your machine, prompts go directly from your browser to the provider you chose, and nothing ever passes through a DataPilot server (there are none). The browser permission for a provider's domain is only requested if you configure it. 🔒 Private by design DataPilot stores everything locally in your browser and talks only to the Dataverse environment you are already signed in to (plus the public Microsoft Learn docs endpoint, and — only if you enable it — the AI provider you configured with your own API key). No accounts, no tracking, no data ever sent to the developer. By installing DataPilot you accept its Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. DataPilot is provided "as is", without warranty; it includes powerful operations — test in a non-production environment and back up before applying changes.
