DataM8 helps approved contributors find and complete paid AI training jobs. Use the DataM8 extension to: • Sign in securely to your DataM8 contributor account • See available jobs, earnings and active-task status • Select and complete in-platform or external website tasks • Save partial progress and resume supported jobs • Submit completed responses for quality review • Capture task evidence when a job specifically requires it • Preview and delete captured events and screenshots before submission • Stop capture, abandon a task or report an incorrectly scoped task TASK CAPTURE AND PRIVACY Some DataM8 jobs take place on third-party websites. Before accepting one of these jobs, DataM8 shows the task’s capture policy, including the approved websites and the evidence types requested. Depending on the disclosed job configuration, evidence may include: • Page URLs on approved domains • Clicks and element identifiers • Accessibility labels and selected elements • Selected text • Redacted form-change events • Navigation events • Sanitized console messages and page errors • User-triggered or task-milestone screenshots • Contributor-started screen recording without microphone audio Website access is requested for the approved job websites. DataM8 does not use this access for advertising or general browsing analytics. Capture is visibly controlled by the contributor. It stops when the contributor stops or abandons the task, submits it, signs out, closes the target tab, the assignment expires, Chrome restarts or the extension reloads. DataM8 is designed to exclude passwords, payment fields, authentication codes, raw keystrokes, clipboard contents, hidden form values, microphone audio and camera video. Contributors can review supported evidence before submitting it. Captured task evidence is securely transmitted to DataM8 and made available only to authorised DataM8 reviewers and the business responsible for that task, subject to the disclosed project scope and retention period. DataM8 does not sell personal information or use task activity for personalised, retargeted or interest-based advertising. A DataM8 account and an available approved job are required.
