See what every site tries to access — location, camera, mic, cookies, trackers, fingerprinting — and control it, per site.

Most privacy tools tell you a number. Data Watchdog tells you what actually happened. Open it on any site and you see, in plain words, what that page tried to take: which ad and analytics networks it loaded, whether your camera or microphone was requested, what it wrote to storage. Then you decide what it gets. Per site. In real time. SEE WHO IS WATCHING Trackers are named, not counted. "Google Tag Manager", "Meta Pixel", "DoubleClick", "Hotjar", each one shown with what set it off ("on page load", "after clicking Add to cart") and whether it was blocked. Blocking happens at the network layer, before the request leaves your browser. ASK BEFORE, NOT REPORT AFTER Camera, microphone, location, clipboard, screen sharing and connected devices ask first. Answer on the page, or in the popup, whichever you happen to be looking at. Switch a permission off mid-call and a live camera or mic actually stops, rather than only refusing the next request. 22 CONTROLS, PER SITE Cookies, local and session storage, canvas / WebGL / audio fingerprinting, hardware info, browser identity, timezone, screen size, WebRTC leaks, motion sensors, font enumeration, idle detection and Global Privacy Control. Set each one to Allow, Ask or Block, or hand the site a plausible fake instead of refusing, which is often harder to detect than a blank. Three one-click presets (Permissive, Balanced, Strict), and an options page to search, bulk-edit, export and import every site at once. PROTECTION THAT ARRIVES IN TIME Fingerprinting scripts run early, on purpose. Data Watchdog applies your settings before the page's own first script runs, verified in a real browser, so a fingerprinter reads the value you chose rather than your real one. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR MACHINE No account. No server. No analytics. No telemetry. No remote code. Fonts come from your own system rather than a CDN. Settings and counters live in local storage you can export or delete at any time. The single exception is deliberate and disclosed in the UI itself: the "Check my public IP" button contacts api.ipify.org when you click it, and only then, so you can see what a website would see. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS NOT This raises the cost of tracking you; it is not anonymity. A determined fingerprinting service combining many signals can still make progress. The tracker list is around fifteen common vendors, not an exhaustive database. WebRTC protection can break video calls, which is why it is off by default. Open about its own limits, and about the one request it makes.
