Data Forge – Test Data & Autofill

Overview
Generate reusable test data, map it to web forms, and autofill safely.
**DataForge – Smart Test Data Generation & Form Autofill** DataForge is a local-first browser extension designed to help developers, QA engineers, and testers generate synthetic test data, discover web form fields, create reusable field mappings, and safely autofill supported forms. **Key Features** **1. Synthetic Test Data Generation** - Generate realistic test data using 58 configurable generators. - Create names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, dates, numbers, URLs, identifiers, and more. - Configure generator options, ranges, formats, and supported constraints. - Use advanced generators including custom lists, sequences, regular expressions, templates, and formulas. **2. Smart Form Scanning** - Discover supported fields on webpages. - Review detected fields before saving them. - Identify supported field types and available configuration constraints. - Avoid unsafe or unsupported controls. **3. Intelligent Field Mapping** - Map generated test data to webpage fields. - Reuse saved mappings for supported forms. - Review ambiguous or changed fields before applying updates. **4. Safe Autofill** - Fill supported form fields using generated test values. - Reuse frozen values across repeated fills. - Support common text inputs, dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes, and selected multi-value controls. - Never automatically save or submit forms. **5. Projects and Reusable Schemas** - Organize test fields into projects and optional groups. - Customize and preview generator configurations. - Preserve saved configurations and generated value sets. - Import and export project configurations. **6. Bulk Data Export** - Generate bulk test datasets. - Export selected field groups to CSV. - Export multiple groups as ZIP files. - Generate up to 300,000 rows per scope within supported limits. **7. Local-First Design** - Data generation runs locally in the browser. - Project configurations and generated values are stored using browser extension storage. - No account registration is required to use the extension's core features. - No backend service or external AI API is required. **How to Use DataForge** 1. Open DataForge from your browser. 2. Create a project and configure your test-data fields. 3. Open a webpage containing a form. 4. Scan and review the supported fields. 5. Save the mappings. 6. Generate synthetic test data. 7. Autofill the supported fields. 8. Export datasets to CSV or ZIP when needed. **Designed For** Developers, QA engineers, software testers, and teams working with web applications. **Important:** DataForge does not automatically submit forms. Some custom or dynamic webpage controls may require manual configuration or may not be supported. DataForge helps reduce repetitive test-data preparation and manual form entry while keeping the user in control.
