dashtab
Overview
A clean new tab dashboard: live stocks, sticky notes, weather, clock and Google search.
dashtab turns Chrome's new tab page into a clean, fast personal dashboard — the things you actually want at a glance, with no clutter, no accounts and no tracking. WHAT YOU GET • Live stocks — track any ticker (stocks, indices, crypto). Each card shows the daily change, a 90-day sparkline, and the 30-day / 365-day highs. • Portfolio summary — enter how many shares you own and get weighted performance for Today, 30 days and 365 days. The summary only appears when you have holdings. • Privacy mode — one click hides your total value and holdings, handy when sharing your screen. • Sticky notes — up to four quick notes with inline editing, drag-to-reorder, bold (Ctrl/Cmd+B) and links (Ctrl/Cmd+K). Off by default; enable it in Settings. • Weather — current conditions for any city. • Search & clock — a Google search bar (auto-focused) and a live clock. • Backup & restore — export your whole setup to a file and import it back anytime. PRIVACY FIRST dashtab has no backend of its own and collects nothing. Your settings live in your browser (Chrome sync). Stock data comes straight from Yahoo Finance and weather from Open-Meteo.
