eCW Rocket

Opens Dashboard patients in eCW with one click and can start the eCW CCM clock automatically for practice staff.

eCW Rocket saves clinical staff clicks in eClinicalWorks (eCW). Click a patient's account number on the Dashboard and the patient opens in eCW. For patients enrolled in Chronic Care Management (CCM), it can also start the CCM clock for you. Open patients from the Dashboard: - Switches to your open eCW tab, or opens eCW if none is open. An open eCW tab is never reloaded. - If eCW is at the login screen, waits up to 5 minutes for you to log in. It never touches your password. - Opens Patient Lookup, searches by Acct No (MRN) and opens the patient's Patient Hub. - If you chose it on the dashboard, then opens the patient's Encounters, Progress Notes or DI. - If a step can't finish within 10 seconds, it stops and tells you why. The account number stays on your clipboard so you can finish by hand. Start the CCM clock automatically (each option is off until you turn it on): - Choose where: Telephone Encounters, progress notes, documents and Patient Hub. - For a CCM-enrolled patient, it opens the CCM panel and clicks Start. - It never touches a clock that is already open or running. - In a progress note that is the patient's office visit today, it doesn't start the clock and shows "NO CCM - Patient with visit today." for 3 seconds. - Optionally clicks "Reset" in the "Reset Timer - Confirmation" prompt, and "Close Anyway" when you close the timer. One small menu: A round rocket button on the dashboard and in eCW opens the eCW Rocket menu. Drag it anywhere; it remembers where you put it. Green switches are on, red are off. "Extension Off" in the menu, or the extension's toolbar icon, hides the button and turns everything off until you click the toolbar icon again. Privacy: - Only the clicked account number is passed from the dashboard to eCW, inside your browser. - No patient data, passwords or usage data are collected or sent to the developer or anyone else. - No analytics, ads or third-party services. - The extension works only on the practice's eCW site and the Dashboard. This extension is for our practice's staff who use the Dashboard and the practice's eCW system. It has no effect on other websites.
