Overview

Every website in a calm, readable dark theme. One switch, no sign-up, nothing collected.

Dark Mode On turns every website dark the moment it opens, so you never get blinded by a white page again. It reads each site's own design and builds a matching dark version: backgrounds go dark, text stays crisp, links stay blue, warnings stay red, and photos stay exactly as they were taken. No negative-photo look, no washed-out greys. What you get • Dark on every website, from the first second (no white flash while a page loads) • Turn it off for one site with a single switch • Three shades: Dim, Dark and Black (for OLED screens) • Soften bright pictures at night • Sites that are already dark are left as they are • Shortcut: Alt + Shift + D turns it on and off Private by design • No account, no sign-up, no ads • Nothing you browse is collected, stored or sent anywhere • Your few settings (on/off, shade, sites you turned off) sync only through your own Chrome account Light and fast: no trackers, no outside servers, a few small files.
