Connect the selected provider session to your own Handshake Portal account after normal browser sign-in.

Connect a selected provider session to your own Handshake Portal account after signing in on the provider’s real website. Use the normal sign-in options offered by YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram or TikTok, including Google or Facebook redirects where available. Passwords and verification challenges stay on the provider pages. The companion does not collect Google or Facebook cookies. Setup requires a compatible Handshake Portal deployment with provider browser sign-in enabled. Save its exact HTTPS address as your trusted Portal, open User settings → Connections → Add account, then choose Connect selected service in this extension. Sign in on the provider page, reopen the extension and choose Finish and save this account. Only after you choose Finish does the companion transfer cookies for the selected provider to your trusted Portal’s account-bound connection workflow. The Portal stores the connection credentials in its encrypted vault. Provider permissions are requested for the selected service when connecting. The extension stores the trusted Portal address locally and keeps the pending sign-in request in temporary session storage; provider cookies are not saved in extension storage. This companion connects accounts. Feed acquisition and the content each provider permits are handled by your Portal deployment. Public RSS feeds and public YouTube channel subscriptions do not require this extension. Desktop Chrome is required.
