Tentmate is an AI teammate that lives in your Basecamp. It is a real Basecamp person: @-mention it in a comment, assign it a to-do or a card, or talk to it in Campfire, and it gets to work. Watch the AI agent progress right on the Basecamp page, so you never leave the thread. What it adds to Basecamp: - Live status on the boost. The boost becomes a status chip. It spins while the bot works, turns into a green check with how long it took when it is done, and a red cross if it could not finish. Team admins also see what the run cost in credits. - The live transcript. Click the chip and the whole session opens over the page: what the bot was asked, what it was thinking, every command it ran and every answer it gave, updating while the run is going. - Pull request links. On a project board, card faces show the pull request Tentmate opened for that card, with its number and whether it is open or merged. - Agent status and configuration. Open the bot's profile card and it tells you whether the bot is ready, how many credits your team has left and which tools it can use. Before You Install You need a Tentmate account (https://tentmate.ai) and a Basecamp project with a Tentmate bot on it. It runs only on Basecamp pages and talks only to tentmate.ai, signed in as you, so it never shows you anything your account cannot already see. Your messages, names and thread content never leave the page. It stores nothing and has no analytics.
