Overview
Adds a button to the DALL·E 2 web app that lets you download generated images along with the prompt that generated them.
KNOWN LIMITATIONS If the prompt input field has been edited or cleared after generating the images or after navigating back to a previous task, the zip folder name will take that edited version of the prompt instead of the original one that was actually used to generate the images. Unfortunately the page HTML contains no other reference to the prompt that generated the images. The page title was an option, but it doesn't update when you navigate to a previously generated prompt. So the prompt input field is the best we can do. DESCRIPTION The problem DALL·E 2 is an incredible achievement. It displays creativity never before seen in a ML system. But the UI only lets you view the 50 most recent prompts and generated image sets. Anything more than 50 tasks ago is lost. Currently if you want to save the images you've generated you have to download each image one by one. And if you want to remember which prompt generated these images you have to make a note of that yourself, and how to link which prompts generated which images becomes a tedious exercise in manual organisation and file renaming. The solution This extension creates a button in the bottom left hand corner of the page that, when clicked, downloads all the current prompt's images in a zip folder, whose filename is the prompt that generated them. You can now save your prompt and its generated images in a single click.

Yeah guys it works. There's a button in the bottom left corner under the four images that says "Download prompt & results" It then downloads a zip. Thanks!

Hi Guys, Could you help me how it works? I'm under the 'History' tab but I have no cue how to activate the app. Neither a button appears to execute the downloading nor anything happens if I push the extension icon. Thanks a lot.

Hi, It looks like OpenAI have add a separate History page in addition to the recent history sidebar, which has made this extension's instructions somewhat ambiguous. To be clear, this extension only works when you are currently on the page that displays the full results of a single prompt. The page URL should look something like https://labs.openai.com/e/abcde12345. This is the page that displays the 4 or 5 generated images for your prompt. On that page, there should be a button in the bottom left corner of the page that says "Download prompt & results." You can view past generations by displaying the recent history sidebar (the button to toggle the sidebar should be on the top right of the page, right next to the "Upload" button). It appears that the History tab displays each image from each prompt generation separately, and clicking on an image on that page only displays that one image in a popup with no way to get back to the generation screen for that image. So to use this extension, make sure that you have navigated to the prompt generation page using the recent history sidebar. I hope that helps.
