The extension gives you extra market context on property search pages, so you can compare listings without constantly switching between Daft.ie, the Property Price Register, spreadsheets, calculators and other research tools. • View nearby sale prices from the Property Price Register • See previous sale information where a likely match is found • Compare asking prices against nearby sales • Estimate inflation-adjusted sale values using CSO residential property price index data • See quick comparison figures such as price per square metre and price per bedroom • Review listing age, agent details and useful property information in a cleaner format • Add your mortgage approval, savings, deposit and buying costs to estimate your real buying budget • Download property photos for personal research and comparison Buying a home in Ireland usually means checking multiple sources before deciding whether a property is worth viewing or bidding on. This extension brings some of that research into the page you are already using. It is designed for people who want to quickly answer questions like: • Has a similar home nearby sold recently? • Is the asking price high or low compared with past sales? • What does the price look like per square metre? • How does the property compare with my real budget? • Is this listing worth saving, viewing or investigating further? **Data sources** The extension uses publicly available property data sources where available, including the Property Price Register and CSO residential property price index information.
