Overview
Enterprise Browser Protection for CY-DLP Sentinel
CY-DLP Browser Sensor is the browser component of Cybernexa CY-DLP, an enterprise Data Loss Prevention platform. It is deployed and managed by an organization's IT/security team and works together with the CY-DLP endpoint agent installed on the device. The sensor inspects content in web pages — text entered into web apps, file uploads, and AI/GenAI tool prompts — to detect regulated and sensitive data (such as Aadhaar, PAN, credit-card numbers, and other personally identifiable information) before it leaves the browser. When organizational policy requires it, the sensor can block the action and notify the local CY-DLP agent, which records the event for the security team. Key capabilities: - Detects sensitive and regulated data in page input, uploads, and GenAI prompts - Enforces the organization's DLP policy at the point of data entry, before encryption - Works with the locally installed CY-DLP agent via native messaging - Centrally managed — configuration and policy come from the CY-DLP console This extension is intended for organizations that have deployed CY-DLP. It requires the CY-DLP endpoint agent and does not function as a standalone consumer tool. No data is sold or used for advertising; all processing serves the deploying organization's data-protection policy.
