Join teacher-controlled CW browser exam sessions. Personal-device restrictions apply within Chrome only.

CW Exam Sessions helps schools run teacher-directed Classroom Writer exam sessions in Chrome. Enter the code supplied by your teacher, enter your name and accept the Chrome restrictions. The extension opens your worksheet in a separate fullscreen exam window, blocks unrelated web navigation in that window and keeps the worksheet tab active. Your teacher can see session connection and Chrome-focus status and end your session. Ending releases the extension restrictions and leaves your worksheet open. A local session deadline is the fallback if the service cannot be reached. Personal-device limits: this extension controls Chrome only. It cannot prevent switching to operating-system apps, disabling the extension, using another browser or profile, or using another device. For stronger device restrictions, ask your school about a tested native exam-browser or managed kiosk configuration. The extension does not transmit other tab URLs, browsing history, screenshots, keystrokes or other tab contents. Worksheet activity recording and worksheet Focus Guard are separate CW features. This initial release is intended for supervised school pilots.
