Cutout runs an AI model inside your browser, so your photos are never uploaded and there is nothing to sign up for. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Cut out a photo, product shot, logo, portrait or screenshot in one click. • Right-click any image on a web page and choose "Remove background with Cutout". • Drop, paste (Ctrl+V) or choose one or many images, then download every result as a single zip. • Export PNG or WebP with transparency, or JPEG, at up to 6000 px on the long side. • Keep it transparent, pick a solid or custom colour, or place your subject on a blurred copy of the original. • Fix tricky edges with a restore and erase brush, edge shrink and grow, softness, and a colour clean-up for hair and fur. • Zoom in and drag to pan to check fine detail, then crop to the subject. The AI model (IS-Net) is bundled with the extension, which is why the download is about 90 MB. • No watermark, no credits, no daily limit. GOOD TO KNOW • Requires Chrome 116 or newer. • Speed: Cutout uses your graphics card (WebGPU) when Chrome offers it, and your processor otherwise. On an older laptop without a usable GPU, one photo took about 16 seconds, and the "Faster" setting cuts that by roughly 40%. Newer computers are quicker. • On some websites, right-clicking an image asks your permission to download from that site. Chrome shows the request first and you can allow just that one site. It is used only to fetch that image. • Busy scenes, glass and wispy hair can leave rough spots; the brush is there to fix them. • Built with open-source parts: the IS-Net model (Apache-2.0) and ONNX Runtime Web (MIT).
