Skip sex scenes, nudity and gore on Netflix, and mute strong language, without reaching for the remote. CutCat skips or mutes marked moments while you watch, inside the Netflix player you already use. Markings come from other viewers, and you can add your own. Nothing is downloaded, nothing is re-encoded, and the video itself is never touched: playback simply jumps past the scene. Useful if you are watching with family, with kids in the room, or would just rather not sit through a particular kind of scene. How to start 1. Add CutCat to Chrome on your computer. 2. Open Netflix and play anything. A small cat appears in the corner of the player. 3. Click Sign in next to the cat and choose your Google account. CutCat skips scenes once you are signed in. 4. Click the gear to choose what to skip, then press play. What it does - Skips marked scenes automatically: sex, nudity, gore and violence. - Mutes marked words and leaves the rest of the scene playing. - Lets you choose what counts. Switch whole categories on or off, so you can mute language and skip nothing, or skip nudity and leave violence alone. - Lists every marked scene on the video you are watching, with its start and end time, so you can jump to any of them. Add your own markings - Click where a moment starts and where it ends, then trim it on a timeline ruled in single frames. - Over a hundred filters to choose from, or type the word you heard. - Preview before you save: play the marked range, or the whole stretch as other viewers will get it. - Vote on other people's markings. Enough agreement approves one. What it does not do - It works in Chrome on a computer. It does not work on phones, tablets or smart TVs. - It works on Netflix only. - It only skips scenes someone has marked. A title with no markings plays as normal, and the catalogue grows as viewers mark more. Privacy CutCat never records what you watch and never captures video or audio.
