Exactly what an extension like this should be. Simple, local, open source, and works perfectly with no fuss and no login/account or "pro" version needed.

Absolutely fantastic for handling all the annoying sites that refuse to supply a proper dark mode.

I use this on a number of sites to improve their UI as I see fit. In the extension description, can you please explain the character limit? I have a site where the character count is 7581, and I'm not sure what effect that has. Edit: I see now that it does not save changes after 7500 characters. The styles will appear for the current page, but the new edits will not appear on the next page load.

Indeed, we can only store 7500 characters due to a current technical limitation. The textarea was not supposed to insert more, I think we have lost this when adding syntax highlighting. I’ll mark it down as a bug to fix, thanks!

Super awesome! Extremely easy. Could definitely use a few more basic features, though. The most important being, in my opinion, the ability to specify CSS by portions of a URL, rather than domain. This will be critical to be able to use it to visually differentiate between production and sandboxes that reside on the same domain (like with Marketo). Would love to see that added :)

Unfortunately, adding different styles by URL is out of design scope of this extension. But if you have anything in the DOM that is different, you can always use that. E.g. `body:has([data-environment="production"]) { background: red; }`.

Have been using this plenty for the past months, however now all my changes to websites are overwritten (scratched over) and the element inspecter says "Injected stylesheet". This has changed in the past few days. I wonder if it coincides with the September 10 update.

Please try to add `!important` to your CSS statements to override rules that the website authors may have. Mistakes and bugs happen, perhaps you could direct those to the support page: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/custom-css-by-denis/cemphncflepgmgfhcdegkbkekifodacd/support You’ve been using this and it was useful for you, perhaps you’d like to not rate it 2 stars because of a temporary issue?

Good, but would be nice if they had syntax highlighting and other things that IDEs have (automatically adding }, etc) but I'm just being nitpicky. The only issue I have is that sometimes, the style is added before some of the website's styles so your custom css gets overriden

Syntax highlighting has just been recently added!

Quickly becomes indispensable. Hundreds of use cases for small tweaks that deliver big improvements to usability, accessibility, and productivity on websites with suboptimal designs. Just a few examples: 1) Improve readability/accessibility of design schemes by recoloring text/links to higher-contrast colors or adding a high-contrast drop-shadow to create a "glow" effect behind images that blend too much into the background (especially useful for sites not optimized for your browser's native ...
