Custom Buttons
Overview
Insert repetitive text into Salesforce fields with admin-managed custom toolbar buttons.
Custom Buttons adds a toolbar to Salesforce Service Console so agents can insert common text snippets with one click instead of retyping them. How it works Sign in with your work email (one-time verification code, no password). A toolbar appears at the top of supported Salesforce pages. Focus any text field, then click a button to insert that snippet at the cursor. Works across nested iframes in the console (case details, work orders, sidebars, and similar views). For everyone Mandatory buttons — shared snippets set by your admin for the whole team. Personal buttons — your own shortcuts, visible only to you. Merged or split layout — show all buttons on one row, or put personal buttons on a second row. Toolbar appearance — dark, light, or custom colour; optionally match the console tab strip colour. For admins Manage mandatory buttons and view an audit log of changes from the extension settings page. Other options Start with the toolbar collapsed after each page load. Optional blocking of unwanted third-party login popups on console refresh. Requirements Salesforce Service Console (Classic console). An account approved by your organisation’s extension backend. After installing, open the extension from the Chrome toolbar to sign in, then reload your Salesforce console tab.
