Current time capture

)Overview
Records the sites and tool sections you use, with minutes, while a Current ticket's or task's clock runs, so you can log the time.
Current time capture works with a Current service desk ticket or project task. While that clock runs in Current, it notes the host name of each site you use (for example portal.azure.com) and for how many minutes. For a known work tool it also notes which part of the tool you are in, such as Entra › Conditional Access or Intune › Devices, and the order you moved between them. When you stop the clock, you see the sites and minutes before anything is logged, and Current's AI uses your list to draft your note. The part of a tool comes from a fixed list built into the extension. The extension looks at a page's address only to pick a name from that list, then forgets it: it never keeps or sends the rest of an address, an id, a search term or a name from it. It never records what a page contains, what you type, or screenshots. It records nothing in an incognito window, nothing while no clock runs, nothing while you are away from the computer, and never banking, health, personal mail, personal chat or password-manager sites. Your workspace admin can add more sites to skip, and you can skip any tab or pause capture for 30 minutes. Page titles are off. A workspace admin can turn them on in Current, and even then the extension asks you first and records a title only if you agree. Email addresses, web addresses and long numbers are removed from a title before it is kept, but a title can still contain a person's name. Turning titles off deletes every title already recorded. The list stays on this computer for seven days. For the ticket or task, Current receives each site or tool name with its minutes, the order of the work, and page titles only if you agreed. Only you see the list. At most, a manager who reviews your time sees the total minutes recorded for an entry, never the list. You need a Current account in a workspace where the service desk is on, and you connect this browser from your own Settings in Current. Privacy policy: https://current.day/extension/privacy
