Export and import cookies for the currently active site.

Single purpose description This extension allows users to export and import cookies for the currently active website for backup, testing, and session management purposes. activeTab justification The activeTab permission is used to detect the URL of the tab currently opened by the user when they click the extension, so the extension can limit cookie export and import actions to the active website only. cookies justification The cookies permission is required to read cookies from the current website during export and to restore those cookies during import when the user explicitly chooses to perform those actions. downloads justification The downloads permission is used to save the exported cookie backup as a JSON file on the user’s device after the user clicks the export button. host permissions justification Host permissions are required so the extension can access and restore cookies for the website currently open in the active tab. The extension uses these permissions only when the user manually opens the extension and performs an export or import action for that site. remote code justification This extension does not use remote hosted code. All executable code is packaged locally inside the extension bundle, and no JavaScript is loaded or executed from external servers.
