Currency Converter turns any price you see online into the currency you actually think in. HOW IT WORKS Highlight a price with your mouse. A small bar appears above it showing the converted amount. That is the whole thing. Selecting "Add to cart" or "4.7 stars" or "16 GB" does not. The rule is simple: if anything is left over after removing the number and the currency marker, the extension stays out of your way. There is a master switch that turns everything off everywhere, instantly, and remembers your settings for when you turn it back on. ABOUT YOUR DATA Nothing is collected. No analytics, no accounts, no tracking, no ads. Your settings are stored by your browser and sync through your own Google account, the same way your bookmarks do. The only thing that leaves your computer is the amount and the currency codes, sent to a public exchange rate service to get the conversion. RATES Exchange rates come from ExchangeRate-API, with a second source as backup. They refresh automatically every few hours, and you can force a refresh whenever you like. Free, and it will stay that way.
