Thank you so much. To save other writers 30 seconds, please add instructions on how to bind keys to the extensions functions.

Works perfectly for me on ChromeOS, just had to change the keyboard shortcut from the extensions menu as other reviewers have mentioned.

working in 122.0.6261.6 set first : chrome://extensions/shortcuts

Using it to disable Ctrl + D, works fine. To future readers: you need to set the shortcut (to be disabled) in chrome://extensions/shortcuts

Doesn't work. Ctrl+W still closes out the tab...

Works perfectly! In order for it to work you have to select the three bars in the top left. From there you can add your desired shortcuts.

Thank you! It works. Just needed to go to chrome://extensions and assign Ctrl-W to this extention "do nothing" action. That did the job! :)

for it to work, go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts, set this extensions "do absolutely nothing!" keybind to Ctrl+W and then it will work.
