CTJ - Web3 Auth Bridge Authentication bridge that connects your existing Web3 wallet to Crypto Trading Journal for passwordless login using Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE/EIP-4361). This is NOT a wallet. It requires a separate wallet extension already installed. SECURE AUTHENTICATION - Sign-In with Ethereum (EIP-4361) standard - No passwords to remember - Cryptographic proof of wallet ownership - Sessions expire automatically after 24 hours PRIVACY FIRST - Only your public wallet address is used for authentication - Private keys never leave your wallet - No browsing history, transaction history, or balances collected - Session data stored locally in your browser SUPPORTED WALLETS - MetaMask - Rabby - Coinbase Wallet - Brave Wallet - Phantom - Any EIP-1193 / EIP-6963 compatible wallet HOW IT WORKS 1. Install a supported wallet extension (e.g. MetaMask) 2. Install this extension 3. Visit cryptotradingjournal.xyz/login 4. Click "Connect Wallet" on the site 5. Approve connection in your wallet 6. Sign the authentication message 7. Done — wallet address shown in extension popup PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED - storage: Save your session token locally - activeTab: Detect when you're on cryptotradingjournal.xyz - alarms: Keep service worker alive during authentication (Chrome MV3 terminates after 30s; signing can take longer) This extension ONLY activates on cryptotradingjournal.xyz domains.
