Overview

Downloads photos from the CTBids seller dashboard, using item titles as filenames.

This is a tool for owners & managers of CTBids franchises. It facilitates the rapid saving and identifying of auction item photos, as the tools provided by Home Office have neglected this feature entirely, and do not appear to be interested in providing it. Their solution is to "Right click & save on the images you want." or "SaveAs from your browser" which may get the images, but the filenames are meaningless to humans, and a visual search is frustratingly slow. When you've got 100+ auction items, this is unacceptable. This Extension analyses the seller.ctbids/dashboard page for a specific auction, then downloads the photos naming them for the auction lot they belong, thereby providing a quick, meaningful reference necessary for external marketing tasks. Hopefully, someday, the Home Office will see fit to implement this feature natively within the CTBids Seller infrastructure. But I'm not holding my breath... I've been asking for nearly five years. -Jason Norris, CTFTW
