CTAS Maryland Tax Balance Agent

CTAS Maryland Tax Balance Agent helps authorized employees of Columbia Tax and Accounting Services LLC collect and review client tax balances from Maryland Tax Connect. After an employee completes login, multifactor authentication, and CAPTCHA, the extension navigates authorized client profiles and compiles account information into consolidated reports. Features include: - Collect company names, addresses, tax account numbers, tax types, reporting periods, outstanding balances, and account statuses. - Identify accounts explicitly showing no outstanding debt. - Create review tickets for duplicate company names, incomplete information, and collection errors. - Save progress and resume interrupted collection while skipping completed and previously ticketed companies. - Attempt limited recovery from loading and navigation failures. - Export balance reports, review tickets, and audit records. Working records are stored locally in the employee’s Chrome profile. Reports are exported at the employee’s request and are not automatically uploaded to external services. This extension is a private internal tool for approved CTAS staff. It reads account information and does not file tax returns, initiate payments, or modify taxpayer records. Staff must review report accuracy and resolve outstanding tickets.
