ok so the extension is cool and all, but why does it have the ability to record and make "changes" to any website it feels fit. So, if you're hacked, the hackers can go in and change my passcodes and all that fun stuff??? Not worth a visual of the BTC price.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. The extension does NOT have or ask permissions to record or modify websites. Its only purpose is to replace the New Tab page with a Bitcoin price chart. It only requires access to a trusted API for this. The project is open-source, you're welcome to review the code for full transparency (https://github.com/superKalo/crypto-tab). Hope this clears things up.
