Create watch parties on Crunchyroll with synced playback, chat, and event logs.

Watch Crunchyroll together with synced playback, room chat, and live party logs. More streaming platform support coming soon. Crunchyroll WatchParty lets friends watch episodes together in real time, even from different locations. Create or join a room, choose a username, and sync playback across everyone in your party. When one user pauses, resumes, or jumps to a different timestamp, the room stays aligned. The extension also includes in-page chat and a live event log so everyone can follow what is happening. Current support: Crunchyroll video pages Core features: Room-based watch parties Synchronized pause, play, and seek In-page party chat Timestamped activity log for joins, leaves, pause, resume, and jumps Invite code flow for easier room sharing Optional room password protection Coming soon: Additional streaming platform support More room controls and moderation options Expanded customization and quality-of-life improvements Important: This extension is currently optimized for Crunchyroll. A relay server URL is required for multi-user sync. Public use should use secure WebSocket endpoints. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Crunchyroll.
