On supported Amazon, Sephora, Ulta and Target product and search pages, see three separate checks: - Animal testing: approval from named programmes, documented concerns, disagreements or missing evidence. - Ingredients and materials: product vegan evidence or known animal-derived components, with unknowns kept visible. - Parent company: separate ownership and parent-testing information when supported by evidence. Choose whether to require vegan products, check the parent company too, and accept PETA, CCIC Leaping Bunny or Cruelty Free International animal-testing approval—or require the audited CCIC/CFI programmes. Set an evidence-age limit and see the source links and checked dates behind each result. Results explain whether a purchase meets your criteria, does not meet them, or needs more evidence. Retailer layouts vary, and some products cannot be identified confidently. Ingredient checks cannot prove vegan status just because no known animal ingredient was found.
