Overview

Check animal-testing, vegan and ownership evidence while shopping. Find and save sourced replacements, with clear unknowns.

Make purchases with animals in mind. Cruelty-Free Checker helps you understand the evidence behind a product and find a replacement that meets your animal-rights criteria. On supported Amazon, Sephora, Ulta and Target product and search pages, see three separate checks: - Animal testing: approval from named programmes, documented concerns, disagreements or missing evidence. - Ingredients and materials: product vegan evidence or known animal-derived components, with unknowns kept visible. - Parent company: separate ownership and parent-testing information when supported by evidence. Choose whether to require vegan products, check the parent company too, and accept PETA, CCIC Leaping Bunny or Cruelty Free International animal-testing approval—or require the audited CCIC/CFI programmes. Set an evidence-age limit and see the source links and checked dates behind each result. Results explain whether a purchase meets your criteria, does not meet them, or needs more evidence. A missing certification is not automatically an animal-testing accusation, and a brand approval does not automatically establish vegan ingredients. Find something useful to buy next. The initial replacement catalog contains 14 sourced products for US shoppers in seven categories: shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lip balm, laundry detergent, hand dish soap and general household cleaner. Suggestions are filtered by category, country and your animal-rights preferences. An optional budget uses recent observed prices. Save replacements on your device and revisit them for your next purchase. Know the limits. This is a curated starting catalog, not a search of every product on the market. Prices are dated observations, stock is unknown, and delivery restrictions apply. Check the linked product's current price, ingredients, variant and shipping. Retailer layouts vary, and some products cannot be identified confidently. Ingredient checks cannot prove vegan status just because no known animal ingredient was found. Cosmetic approval does not certify food, clothing or other unsupported product categories. The extension reports sources; it does not certify products itself. Keep control of your information. Product checks run locally against packaged evidence. Saved replacements and correction drafts stay on your device. Preferences may sync through your browser account. There is no telemetry or remote AI verdict service. If something looks wrong, preview a correction, download it, or open an email draft. Nothing is sent automatically. The product focuses on animal rights and does not calculate environmental scores or estimates of animals saved.
