Crown's Gaze is a kingdom-strategy game about the one thing strategy games never let you do: stop watching. Rule your realm from above. Raise holdings, train a host, weigh your court, march on your rivals. Then, when two armies meet, DESCEND. Take a body on that field and fight in it, sword in hand, while two thousand soldiers fight around you. Fall, and take another. The Gaze frays a little each time. WHAT IS IN IT · A full campaign: nine crowns, a living map, diplomacy, a treasury, holdings to build, and the Hollowing rising underneath all of it in three acts. · Battles of up to two thousand soldiers, each one a body you can wear. · 31 named horrors, from the moor-things to the Abyss to three world-enders, each with its own mechanics and its own ground. · The Long War: a six-chapter authored saga. · The Long Road: a roguelike run as a lone wanderer. · The Abyss: ten floors down, drafting a host as you go. · Boss Rush, Last Stand survival, a Daily Battle, challenges. · Sandbox god-mode: put nine crowns and any horror on one field, then throw meteors at them. · Every sprite, every field and every sound is generated by code. There are no image files. RUNS OFFLINE The whole game is free and complete, and it runs entirely on your machine. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no server. Your saves are yours, on your computer.
