Overview

After every csTimer solve, prompts a random starting cube orientation. Full 24, x2y, or your own fixed set.

Color neutrality is a habit, and habits need reps. CROP makes every solve start somewhere different. Finish a solve in csTimer and CROP shows a random orientation to hold the cube in for the next one — top face and front face, in large type with color swatches. Press space as usual and the prompt clears itself as your next inspection begins. There is no extra key to press and nothing to click. Very useful for training algorithms or specific scramble generators that leave you in middle of a solve. A lot easier than a coin flip or a dice roll. MODES - Full — all 24 orientations - x2y — white or yellow on top, four side rotations each (8 total) - Fixed blocks — any subset of the 24 you choose. Defaults to white/orange, white/green, yellow/orange, yellow/green. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY - Never steals keyboard focus. The prompt contains nothing clickable and nothing focusable, and the key that dismisses it passes straight through to csTimer. - Never shifts csTimer's layout, and never covers its scramble. - Position the prompt top, centre or bottom. - Works with or without WCA inspection, and with every csTimer timer-display setting — including the ones that hide the running time.
