Overview
Verify Credo-sealed PDFs against verify.engineeringid.com.
"Verify the authenticity of EngineeringID-sealed professional documents in one click." Credo Verify lets you instantly confirm that a PDF sealed through EngineeringID hasn't been altered since it was signed — right from your browser toolbar. Three ways to verify a sealed document: 🔍 Scan the active tab — Have a Credo-sealed PDF open in your browser? Click the extension icon and hit "Scan Tab." Credo Verify computes a SHA-256 hash of the file, cross-references it against the EngineeringID seal registry, and returns a result in seconds. 📄 Drop a local file — Drag any PDF from your desktop into the extension popup. Credo Verify hashes the file locally in your browser (nothing is uploaded) and prompts you to enter the verification code from the document's QR label. 📷 Scan a QR code on screen — Use the "Scan Region" tool to capture any visible Credo verification QR code — on a webpage, email attachment preview, or PDF viewer — and verify it without touching the file at all. What you'll see: ✅ Valid — shows the signer's name and the date the document was sealed ⚠️ Tampered — the file content no longer matches the original sealed hash ❌ Not found — no Credo seal on record for this code No EngineeringID account needed to verify. Credo Verify communicates only with verify.engineeringid.com and the EngineeringID verification API — no data is stored or shared with third parties. Built for architects, engineers, surveyors, attorneys, and anyone who receives professionally sealed documents and needs to confirm their authenticity before relying on them.
