Credential Switcher
Overview
Auto-fill Epic login credentials for testing
Credential Switcher is a productivity tool for QA engineers and testers who work across multiple user accounts and environments in Epic's Identity Provider login portal. Instead of looking up passwords, typing credentials manually, or keeping a spreadsheet open, Credential Switcher stores your test credentials securely on your own server and injects the right username and password directly into the login form — ready to submit in one click. Features: • One-click login — select a usercode from the dropdown and hit Fill & Login • Supports multiple environments — Production, Release, and Staging • US and Canadian profile support with visual flag indicators • Auto-detects when a username is pre-filled by the page and matches the right password automatically • Password change detection — auto-fills the current password field on change screens • Password generation — reads complexity rules from the page and generates a compliant password automatically • Password history — tracks previous passwords per account • Admin panel — manage all credentials from a clean web UI at your server address How it works: Credentials are stored in a private PostgreSQL database on a server you control. The extension communicates only with your server using an API key you set. No data is sent to any third party. Requires a self-hosted Node.js + PostgreSQL backend. See the project repository for setup instructions.
