Overview

AI brand-deal contract review on Gmail attachments & Google Docs. Catches exclusivity traps, perpetuity clauses, Net-90 terms.

CreatorContract is a Chrome companion for YouTube creators who get brand-deal contracts in Gmail or Google Docs and want a structured risk review BEFORE they sign something that locks them out of a future $10K deal. WHAT IT CATCHES 🚧 Exclusivity traps — industry-wide lockouts vs named-competitor, tail periods, geographic scope. ♾️ Perpetuity & usage rights — forever ownership, paid-ad recuts, AI-training opt-ins. 🪞 IP & likeness — face/voice/name use after the deal, AI Face Shield implications. 💸 Payment terms — Net-30/60/90, kill fees, acceptance gating. Drafts a Net-30 push-back email you can paste into Gmail. 🛡️ Indemnification — flags when you're made personally liable for the brand's IP. ✂️ Termination — unilateral exits, refund traps, vague "satisfaction" language. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install CreatorContract. 2. Open Gmail or Google Docs and grant the optional host permission via Chrome's standard prompt — the extension only runs on mail.google.com and docs.google.com after YOU click Allow. 3. A teal "Review with CreatorContract" button appears next to contract PDFs in Gmail, and a floating badge on contract-titled Google Docs. 4. Click it — the web app upload page opens in a new tab. You choose what to share (BYOK with your own Gemini key, or Cloud tier with credits). 5. ~90 seconds later: a structured risk report with a sign/negotiate/walk verdict, top risks with verbatim quotes + "vs market" benchmarks, a copy-paste redline email, plain-English mini-lessons, and a follow-up Q&A. PRIVACY-FIRST • BYOK tier — contract + your Gemini key + report all stay in your browser. Never reaches our servers. • Cloud tier — Google's paid Gemini API in no-training mode; contract text deleted within 24h. • We never train AI on your contracts and never sell data. • The extension reads ONLY PDF attachment metadata in Gmail and the document title in Google Docs — never email bodies or document contents. This is not legal advice. CreatorContract flags risks for human review. For contracts above $5,000 in value or with unusual clauses, have a lawyer review before signing. Built by PixelForgeHub.
