Overview

Adds a 'Create Shortcut' option to the browser's context menu (right-click menu).

Similar to the functionality that was available in Internet Explorer, this context menu option allows you to download and save an internet shortcut file (.html) that links to the current web page. - Version History - v1.2.1 (2026/10/24) - Fixed an issue that caused the extension to stop working in Chrome version 156 and later. - Modify the contents of the shortcut file. v1.2.0 (2025/05/04) - Fixed an issue that prevented shortcut files from working when the page title was too long. - Changed the icon design. v1.1.0 (2024/05/21) - Manifest V3 support. - Added a download dialog. v1.0.1 (2020/09/27) - Made minor modifications. v1.0.0 (2020/09/25) - Initial release.
