CR Dual Subs — Real-time bilingual subtitles for Crunchyroll CR Dual Subs automatically translates Crunchyroll's official subtitles in real time and overlays them as dual-language captions (original + translation) on top of the video. Perfect for language learners, or for watching shows that don't offer subtitles in your language. FEATURES • Intercepts Crunchyroll's playback API to read the original subtitle track (.ass) • Automatically translates the subtitles and displays them alongside the original, side by side • Toggle translation on/off and adjust settings from the toolbar popup HOW TO USE 1. Install the extension and open any Crunchyroll video page 2. Click the CR icon in the browser toolbar to configure your settings 3. Start playback and the bilingual subtitles will appear automatically PERMISSIONS • storage: saves your on/off state and preferences • crunchyroll.com access: reads the subtitle track and overlays the translated captions • Google Translate endpoint: translates the subtitle text PRIVACY This extension does not collect or upload any personal information. Subtitle text is only sent to the translation endpoint to retrieve the translation. Nothing else leaves your browser. NOTE This is an unofficial tool intended for personal and educational use.
