Overview

Search selected text across SAP CPI iFlow definitions from a right-click menu.

CPI Where Used rmbc (right mouse button click) Chrome extension for SAP CPI tenants (CF and Neo). Select text on a page, right-click, choose *CPI Where Used rmbc* and the extension opens a new tab with all iFlows where that exact text appears (credentials, pgp keys, urls, jms queus, script names and etc. including search in default values and externalized configured params.). Stores the cache for 15 minutes to save time and avoid downloading data again in case of big amount of artifacts. Has the button to intentially execute new search with cache update in case flows were changed within this time period. How it works: The extension: 1. Uses the current CPI tenant URL and existing browser session cookies. 2. Fetches a CSRF token. 3. Loads all CPI packages. 4. Loads artifacts for each package. 5. Filters artifacts to `IFlow`. 6. Downloads each `iFlow detail JSON`. 7. Recursively searches all string, number and boolean values for the selected text. 8. Opens a result tab showing package, iFlow, JSON path and snippet. Caching: Package/artifact metadata and iFlow detail JSON are cached per tenant for 15 minutes inside the extension service worker. It is not persisted in chrome.storage. Repeating a search shortly after the first one should avoid much of the repeated downloading, unless Chrome stops the service worker or the cache expires. Scope and limitations: - Searches iFlow detail JSON returned by CPI APIs. - It only detects usage represented in the parsed iFlow JSON details. It will not necessarily detect references hidden in scripts, mappings, externalized parameters, Groovy code or dynamically built queue names unless those appear in the same parsed channel attributes. - Does not unzip full exported packages.
