Overview

Route Chrome through your own server. Paste one link from the CozyNode server script and switch it on.

CozyNode turns a server you already rent (any Linux VPS) into a private proxy for Chrome. No subscriptions and no middlemen: your traffic goes only to your own machine. How it works 1. Run one command on your VPS. It installs an encrypted HTTPS proxy with a random login, gets a free TLS certificate and prints a cozy:// link. 2. Paste the link into CozyNode. 3. Press the button. Choose all sites or only the sites you pick. Have more than one server? Add each link and switch between them with one click, e.g. to pick the exit country. Features • Encrypted connection to your server (HTTPS proxy, TLS) • Several servers in one list, switch with one click • A server per site: any site can go through another server or no proxy • Export settings and paste them into CozyNode in another browser • All sites, or only selected sites ("Add current site" in one click) • WebRTC IP leak protection while the proxy is on • DNS resolved on your server • Connection check: shows the IP and country websites see • No accounts, no analytics, no data collection Who it is for: developers and IT people who already have a VPS and want a simple, private way to use it from the browser, e.g. to work from public Wi-Fi or reach services that are unavailable on the local network.
