Overview
Save LinkedIn job listings to Coverlttr with one click.
Coverlttr for Chrome saves LinkedIn job listings to your Coverlttr account in one click—so you can prepare a tailored cover letter later without copying the posting by hand. If you apply on LinkedIn more than once, you already know the mechanical part: open a listing, copy company, role, and the full description, paste it into another tab, then start the letter. This extension removes that step. Capture the job where you found it. Coverlttr keeps the listing with your account so company, position, and job context are ready when you prepare the letter. WHAT IT DOES On LinkedIn Jobs, Coverlttr reads the listing you are viewing and saves it to your Coverlttr account when you choose to add it. You can: • Click “Add to Coverlttr” next to Apply on a job listing • Open the extension popup on a job page and save from there • Browse, search, and open jobs you already saved • See a toolbar badge when a LinkedIn job can be saved • Turn the on-page button or the badge off in settings Saved listings show up on coverlttr.com. Select one when you prepare a letter and the company and position fill in for you. You do not retype the posting. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in to Coverlttr from the extension (email, Google, or GitHub—same account as the website). 2. Open a job on linkedin.com/jobs. 3. Add it with one click. 4. When you are ready, open Coverlttr, pick that listing, and prepare the letter from your CV and that job’s language. The extension captures job context. Coverlttr on the web is where you prepare, edit, regenerate, template, and export the letter. WHY INSTALL IT Tailoring a cover letter still matters. Repeating copy-and-paste for every listing does not. Coverlttr is a cover-letter workflow: upload your CV once, point it at a real job, get an editable draft grounded in your experience and the employer’s stated requirements, then refine and export (PDF, Word, and more). The Chrome extension is the LinkedIn bridge—so capturing jobs stays inside the tab you already use. Install this if you: • Browse LinkedIn Jobs every day and apply to several roles • Want each serious letter specific to the role, without starting from a blank page • Already use Coverlttr, or plan to, and want saved jobs instead of pasted text WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT DO It does not auto-apply to jobs, fill LinkedIn Easy Apply, scrape your network, or generate the cover letter inside the popup. Letter preparation stays on Coverlttr, under your review. REQUIREMENTS • A Coverlttr account (new accounts start with credits; preparing a letter spends credits, shown before you submit) • Chrome on desktop • Use on LinkedIn job pages (linkedin.com/jobs) PRIVACY You sign in through Coverlttr. We do not store your LinkedIn password. Saved job details go to your Coverlttr account so you can prepare letters later.
