Cover your App

Adds the job listing you're looking at to the New or Applied column of your board.

Cover your App is a job-application tracker. This extension is the fastest way to get a listing onto your board: you're already reading the posting, so put it on the board from there. • Add to New for a role you're weighing up, Add to Applied for one you've already sent. • It sends the page as you see it. The rendered DOM goes along cwith the URL, so extraction works on listings a plain server-side fetch comes back empty on — LinkedIn and Workday cards arrive complete instead of blank. • It tidies the address first. A search page with a posting open in the side panel is saved as that posting's own URL, not the search. • It tells you if the listing is already on your board, and which column, instead of adding it twice. • Adding continues in the background. Closing the popup doesn't cancel it; the toolbar badge shows progress and the result. • Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Y (Cmd+Shift+Y on Mac). Requires a Cover your App account. In the extension's settings, set the endpoint to https://www.coveryourapp.org and paste an access token from Settings → Account. The extension has no analytics and sends nothing anywhere except the Cover your App instance you point it at.
