Cove Download Manager

Intercept downloads and send them to Cove Download Manager.

Cove Download Manager (browser extension) hands your downloads off to the Cove desktop app so they download faster and stay organized. When you start a download, the extension can intercept it and send the link to Cove, along with the page's cookies and referrer so logged-in and protected downloads still work. Cove then downloads the file using multiple connections and manages it in a real queue. Install Cove, launch it once, then click "Test Connection to Cove" in the extension to link them. Hover any HTML5 video and a floating "Download with Cove" button appears in the corner of the player. One click sends the video to Cove with the page's cookies and referrer. Supports direct MP4/WebM sources; on Firefox it also picks up detected HLS (M3U8) streams. Nothing downloads without an explicit click, and DRM-protected media is never touched.
