Courses PLUS turns your course site into a clean, personalized workspace and adds a much more powerful grades page: themes, custom images, what-if grades, a reverse calculator, and more. COMPATIBILITY: Courses PLUS works with Brightspace by D2L (many schools simply call it "D2L"). It runs automatically when you open your school's Brightspace site. VISUAL AND DASHBOARD IMPROVEMENTS Custom Themes: Pick a single color and the color engine generates a matching pastel theme across your whole course site. Or just use Dark Mode. Custom Banners & Course Images: Upload your own images to replace the default photos on course cards and homepage banners. GIFs and animated WebPs supported! GRADES PAGE IMPROVEMENTS What-If Grades: Change assignment grades locally and watch category and overall totals update in real time. Overall Grade: Calculates your overall class percentage from your released grades, even when the course doesn't display one. Reverse Calculator: Enter a target grade to see the exact score you need on remaining work to reach it. Placeholder Assignments: Add hypothetical assignments for upcoming work or grades from other platforms. Reorganization: Move assignments between categories to adjust how they are weighted. Hide Assignments/Categories: Use the ✕ button to hide individual assignments or entire categories from your grade calculation. COURSE OPTIONS Custom Grading Scales: Set a per-course scale so letter grades (A, B+, etc.) match your syllabus. Profiles and Templates: Save and reload different grade scenarios, or generate a shareable code to give a course structure to a classmate. Permanent Changes: Course structures, categories, and what-if grades stay saved until you remove them or click Reset. Quick Links: A homepage widget that gets you to your grades or content pages in fewer clicks. PRIVACY, SETTINGS, AND SUPPORT Data Persistence: All changes are saved in your browser automatically until you reset them. Hypothetical Toggle: Switch between your hypothetical scenario and your original grades at any time. Security: Your data stays in your browser, and no grade information is ever sent to external servers. Only anonymous usage data (which features are used) is collected.
