Coursera Skip Video & Reading is an open-source browser extension that helps enrolled learners move through Coursera more efficiently with user-controlled tools. KEY FEATURES • Complete the current video lecture or reading. • Complete eligible video and reading lessons across an entire course (asks for confirmation first). • Handle discussion prompts individually or in bulk. Prompts it already replied to are skipped, and any failure is reported with its reason. • Assist with peer reviews by selecting rubric scores and filling in positive feedback. You review everything and submit manually. • Optional AI help on graded quizzes: bring your own API key (Gemini, OpenAI or Groq). The extension selects answers and highlights the Submit button; you review the answers, accept the Honor Code and submit yourself. • Use the floating in-page widget or the browser popup. Switch between English and Vietnamese. • Progress updates, retry information and clear error messages. PRIVACY & SECURITY • Works only on Coursera pages and, if you turn on the optional AI feature, the AI provider you choose. • The extension has no server of its own and does not collect, sell or share your personal data. • Does not store or transmit your Coursera login credentials or cookies. • Your API key is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. • If you use the optional AI feature, the quiz question text is sent directly from your browser to the provider you selected, under that provider's terms. • No advertising, no analytics and no hidden background activity. • Fully open source and available for community review. HOW TO USE 1. Sign in to Coursera and enroll in a course. 2. Open a lesson, discussion prompt or peer-review page. 3. Click the extension icon or use the floating widget. 4. Choose the action you want to perform. Bulk actions ask for confirmation first. 5. For peer reviews and quizzes, always check the selected scores, comments or answers before submitting.
