Course Book Builder
Overview
Save selected articles, tutorials and course pages locally. Organize and export EPUB or PDF books with a table of contents.
Turn selected webpages into a reading collection you can take offline. Course Book Builder helps you collect articles, tutorials, documentation and supported course pages, arrange their reading order, and export a book. Start with the current page or review linked-page candidates before adding them. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Add pages deliberately and keep separate books in a local library. - Rename chapters, reorder them and choose which pages to include. - Export a reflowable EPUB with a cover/title page, visible contents and reader navigation. - Preserve supported images, code indentation and code highlighting. - Choose a font, text size and line spacing. - Prepare a PDF using your browser's print dialog and Save as PDF. - Capture up to three pages at once with Boost mode. - Cancel a capture and keep pages that have already finished saving. Chrome opens a native side panel. You can also open the larger workspace. A reusable compact window is available when a browser cannot open the native panel. Keep the owning view open while capturing or exporting; closing it does not leave a background capture job running. LOCAL LIBRARY, CLEAR CONTROLS There is no extension account, analytics service or cloud library. Books are saved in your browser profile. Incognito capture is disabled. Capturing pages contacts the websites and image hosts you select using your normal browser session. While its course view is open, the builder can follow recognized course navigation; ordinary webpages are added deliberately. The local database and exported files are not additionally encrypted by the extension. They may contain private text and original source links. Review exports before sharing, and use your device's storage protections. REPORT A PARSING ISSUE If text, images or code are missing, open Report issue, describe the problem and review the editable report. Page addresses and capture counts are optional. Open email draft prepares a message to chen.dev@icloud.com; you decide whether to send it. No page HTML, images, cookies or login details are automatically attached. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS Extraction varies by website. Videos, interactive exercises, canvas slides, delayed content and complex web applications may not reproduce fully. Inspect a small export before saving an entire course. The extension does not bypass logins, subscriptions, DRM or access restrictions. Save only material you have permission to keep.
