Counsel AI gives you a first read of legal text without leaving the page you are on. Select a clause, a contract or an email, right-click and choose "Analyse selection with Counsel AI", and the result opens in the side panel. How it works You can also click the toolbar icon, pick one of Counsel AI's workflows and capture the text of the current page. The result uses the same layout as the Counsel AI web app: a green, yellow or red rating, the clauses that decided it, and points tagged [verify] where the text does not settle the question. Built for UK law firms Statutory points are cited to the section, and quoted clauses are checked against the text you captured. Every run is recorded in your firm's Counsel AI audit log. Your data Only the text you select or capture is sent. Nothing runs in the background, and the extension never reads a page unless you ask it to. The text is analysed through Anthropic's API, which deletes it within 30 days and never trains on it. Counsel AI itself is hosted in Germany. You need a Counsel AI account. Start a 14-day trial with no card at counsel-ai.org, sign in there with a passkey or an emailed link, and the extension uses the same session.
