Record a quick product demo, walkthrough or bug report straight from Chrome, with your face in a round camera bubble. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the tab you want to show and click the Coucou icon. 2. Press Start. After a 3-second countdown the tab is recorded together with your microphone. 3. Drag the camera bubble to a spot where it doesn't cover anything. Pause whenever you need a moment. 4. Stop, trim the start and the end, and save the video as an MP4. WHAT YOU GET • Only the tab is recorded: no other windows, no notifications, no browser bars. • A camera bubble you see and move on the page. It is recorded exactly where you put it. • Pause and resume. Pauses are cut out of the video. • An MP4 file (H.264 and AAC) that plays everywhere: email, Slack, Notion, Google Drive, your website. • Three quality levels: Small (720p, fits in emails), Standard (1080p) and High (1440p). • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+R starts and stops, Alt+Shift+P pauses (Option+Shift on a Mac). • Available in English and German. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Recording and encoding happen entirely on your computer. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and no tracking. Recordings stay in your browser until you delete them, also after you save them as MP4. PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED • Tab capture: records the tab in which you start a recording. • Camera and microphone: for the bubble and your voice. Chrome asks once. • Active tab and scripting: show the camera bubble in the tab you record, only after you click the icon or use the shortcut. • Offscreen document: runs the recorder in the background while you keep working in the tab. • Storage: remembers your settings and keeps recordings until you delete them.
