Costloop – Email Scanner helps you discover recurring subscriptions from Gmail and Outlook, review detected billing emails, import approved subscriptions into Costloop, and optionally check whether you still use the subscription websites you track. Find subscriptions without manually searching your inbox. Connect your Costloop account, connect Gmail or Outlook, choose a scan period, and Costloop will look for likely subscription receipts, invoices, payment confirmations, renewals, and billing emails. You stay in control before anything is imported. Costloop shows detected subscriptions for review, lets you correct details such as price, currency, billing cycle, renewal date, and website, and then imports only the subscriptions you choose. The extension also includes an optional Usage Monitor. When you choose to run a usage scan, Costloop checks recent browser history locally against subscription website domains from your Costloop account. This helps identify subscriptions that appear active, may need review, have no recent visits, or need a website added. Free Costloop accounts can preview up to 5 detected subscriptions and scan recent usage over a shorter window. Pro and Business accounts unlock full detected results, importing, and longer scan windows. How it works: 1. Connect your Costloop account 2. Connect Gmail or Outlook 3. Choose a scan period 4. Attachments are not accessed. Usage Monitor is optional and only runs when you start a usage scan. Raw browser history, complete URLs, page titles, unrelated browsing activity, page content, passwords, payment details, emails, and chats are not uploaded to Costloop. The extension stores only derived usage results needed to show whether tracked subscription websites appear recently used. Costloop keeps provider tokens and Costloop sessions server-side through secure brokered APIs. The extension does not store raw OAuth refresh tokens or directly access Supabase tables.
