Cosmisk — Ads Library Intelligence
Overview
Find the ads your competitors keep paying for: run-length signals and brand reports on the Meta Ad Library. 7-day trial, then paid.
Find the ads your competitors keep paying for. Cosmisk works on the Meta Ad Library (facebook.com/ads/library). Search for a brand as you normally would. Cosmisk reads the ads that load on the page you are viewing and adds research tools on top of them. A brand usually keeps paying for an ad that works, so the ads it has run for the longest are the ones worth studying. Cosmisk shows you which ones those are. On each ad card How many days the ad has run, the date it started, and a scaling signal (Strong, Likely or Weak/New) that compares the ad's run with the brand's typical ad, for example "Runs 7.3x this brand's typical ad". The card also shows the format and video length, the call-to-action button, where the ad sends people, any creator partnership, and whether the ad runs in several versions. For ads shown in the EU or the UK, after you open "See ad details", the card shows the targeting and reach that the Ad Library publishes for that ad. Two links on each card open a new tab when you click them. "Find this line in other brands' ads" searches every brand in the Ad Library for ads with this exact opening line, and shows if the line is common or original. "Find the product" opens Google Lens with the ad's image, so the image address goes to Google. Brand Report One page per advertiser, in six tabs: Overview (key findings written as plain sentences, the winning ads compared with the brand's own median, scaling signals, size signals such as active ads, launch pace, countries, creators and store products, and the spend or reach Meta itself publishes), Ads & hooks (the opening lines it uses most, creative testing, format and video-length mix, the languages in its ad copy, how often it launches new ads), Offers & pages (offers and prices in the ads, comment-to-DM, how many ads link to an app store, where the ads send traffic), Creators (creator partnerships, each linked to the creator's own Instagram or Facebook account as shown in the ad), Store & countries (Check countries and Store Pulse, below) and What changed. A winning ad that is a video plays inside the report when you click it (muted, with controls); it never autoplays. Partnership ads ("Creator with Brand") are filed under whichever name actually runs ads of its own on the page, not just the order the two names happen to appear in. Every finished scan is saved automatically on this device, whether or not you open the report, so What changed can compare it with your last scan of that brand, even one from earlier the same day. Check countries: on a brand's own Ad Library page, click it to see how many active ads Meta lists for each country you choose. It opens the filtered search in a background tab, one country at a time about 15 seconds apart, up to 10 countries per run, reads the result count and closes the tab. It only runs when you click. Store Pulse: click "Check store" to read a store's public product list (Shopify stores only) from your browser: how many products it lists, the price range, how many show a markdown, and what is new since your last check. It shows no sales or revenue, because the product list has none. Nothing from it is sent to Cosmisk. Store X-ray: on any store's website, click the Cosmisk icon in Chrome's toolbar and then "X-ray this store". Cosmisk reads that one page and shows the shop platform and theme, the ad and analytics tags it loads, the apps it uses that are visible on that page, any review count shown, the store's own best-selling order (a ranking, not sales), and its products and prices. It shows no revenue or traffic. It runs only when you click, only on the tab you clicked on, and nothing from it is sent to Cosmisk. Creative breakdown (paid plans, when available): with your permission, Cosmisk labels each loaded ad's hook, offer and proof type and shows how often each pattern appears, for example how many of a brand's long-running ads open with a problem. These are counts of what the ads say, not predictions. Table view, exports and history Every loaded ad in one sortable table, which you can export to CSV or copy into Google Sheets or Excel. Compare two brands side by side, keep a watchlist of brands, and optionally save a snapshot of a scan yourself (snapshots are kept even when automatic scans are cleared to save space). Download saves one ad's image or video to your Downloads folder for your own reference. Ask ChatGPT or Ask Claude builds a prompt from the report and opens that chat site in a new tab, only when you click the button. What the numbers mean Run length is a signal, not proof. A brand keeps paying for an ad it believes in, but brands sometimes leave small test or awareness ads running too. The report says this wherever it uses the signal. The Ad Library shows ad spend only for political and issue ads, and reach only for ads shown in the EU and UK. Cosmisk shows those figures, labelled Meta data, and does not estimate spend for any other ad. We tested an estimate on real EU reach and it was no better than a guess, so instead each ad shows the facts the Ad Library gives: how long it has run, its versions, and whether it is one of the brand's proven winners. When you search, Cosmisk scrolls the results to load every ad, and a Stop button ends that at any time. Coverage is always shown, for example "240 of ~250 ads loaded". A partly loaded page is never presented as a brand's full picture. Works in any country. Ad text language is detected for most world languages, including Hindi, Hinglish and the main Indian scripts. Pricing Every new install gets a 7-day trial with everything unlocked. You do not need a card or an account for the trial. After the trial you need a paid plan: Rs 499 a month, Rs 4,999 a year, or Rs 9,999 once for lifetime access (prices include GST). "Choose a plan" opens the plan chooser inside the extension, in Chrome's side panel next to the Ad Library tab (it opens in an extension tab instead if the side panel cannot open). Payment is taken on a Razorpay page, not through the Chrome Web Store, and the payment page shows Smashed Agency, which collects payments for Cosmisk. Cosmisk is the seller. Without a trial or a plan, the extension only shows where to choose a plan, and the Ad Library keeps working normally. What leaves your computer Your watchlist, snapshots and reports are stored in your browser. The extension talks to cosmisk.com to show current prices and to check whether the creative breakdown is switched on (these carry nothing about you), and when you pay: it sends the plan you chose, and your browser includes your cosmisk.com cookies. When you activate a plan, it sends the email you paid with, the Razorpay payment or subscription ID and a random install ID, and it then checks your licence once a day. On a paid plan, and only if you allow it, it sends a brand's Page ID and the Library IDs of its ads so it can show the reach Meta reports. On a paid plan, and only if you allow the creative breakdown, it sends the text and Library IDs of the loaded ads (up to 150 per report) to cosmisk.com, which sends the ad text to an AI model (Jev, through OpenRouter) to label it. Store X-ray reads only the store page you clicked it on, and its results stay in your browser. Cosmisk does not read your Facebook account, messages, feed or cookies, and it does not sell data.
